1.Eligibility

The use of a Studyafrica.org student account is restricted to students and parents of students.

The use of a Studyafrica.org institution account is restricted to professionals working in the field of education, including but not limited to: educational institutions of all kinds and levels, educational advisors and agencies, professors, governmental agencies and organizations with the purpose of promoting education.

2.For educational providers and associates (e.g.: institutions, agencies, advisors, professors, organisations, governmental agencies):

The use of Studyafrica is open to educational providers and agencies working in the field of education, provided they are accredited.

Studyafrica determines which accreditations are acceptable to use the services; all users must be accurate and legitimate with the information they provide. Note: Studyafrica reserves the right to check references and to decline or disable accounts made on Studyafrica.org as needed, with or without prior notice and without liability.

3.Use of Studyafrica Content

Studyafrica authorises its users to view and access the content available on Studyafrica.org and to network with other users. Students and parents of students looking for study abroad options are only allowed to use this information for private use. For users in the education industry, Studyafrica authorizes them to use the content for professional use only.

The content of Studyafrica.org and of all other websites under the Studyafrica brand has its software protected under international copyright, trademark, and relevant laws. It is prohibited to duplicate, alter, translate, publish, broadcast, transmit, distribute, perform, display or sell any user content appearing on or through Studyafrica.

4.Studyafrica Site Restrictions

Users on Studyafrica may not create more than one account without discussing this situation with a Studyafrica representative first. Multiple accounts may be deleted with or without prior notice if permission has not been granted.

Agencies, institutions and organizations working professionally in the field of education may be detained from using Studyafrica and its services, should Studyafrica doubt their reliability or accreditation in any way. Studyafrica reserves the right to remove accounts in the aforementioned case with or without prior notice.

Users are not allowed to use Studyafrica to transmit, distribute, store or destroy material, including Studyafrica content: (a) in violation of the law, (b) in any way that would violate the intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to trademarks and copyrights) of others or infringe the personal rights, publicity, or privacy of others, or (c) that is abusive or inappropriate, or ill-willed. It is also prohibited for users to violate the security of Studyafrica via any of the following: (a) accessing data other than that which belongs to the user, (b) logging into a server or account that the user is not authorized to access. (Users must create an account that aligns with their purpose/business - an agency must register as an agency and an institution must register as an institution.) (c) Attempting to tamper with authentication measures without authorization (d) interfering with the service of another user, including but not limited to introducing a virus, spamming or overloading the site. Violations of the site, system of network security may result in civil or criminal liability. Studyafrica will investigate any such occurrences that may involve any above violations and cooperate with law enforcement officials in prosecuting any involved users.

5.Registration and User Content

Studyafrica is not responsible and will not be liable for the user content, documentation and the accuracy of the information provided by its users on Studyafrica.org. By registering with Studyafrica.org, you will be asked to provide personal information, which will be used to match you with other users or institutions on Studyafrica. Your profile information, except for your name and your contact information will be visible to all visitors and members of Studyafrica. Once you build a network with other users of Studyafrica.org, you will be able to see their full profile information, which contains last names and contact information; in turn, this user will be able to see yours.

When schools or agencies on Studyafrica accept your request, the school/agency will have access to your full profile and information. By registering with Findadmissio.com, you indicate that you agree to such terms. You are solely responsible for the information that you provide in your account, and for all posts and messages that you submit or display via Studyafrica.org. By posting user content to Studyafrica.org, you hereby certify that you have the right to use and post such content on Studyafrica. You furthermore warrant that your user content on Studyafrica.org does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person. Studyafrica will not be held liable for your actions and may seek to take action against you, should circumstances warrant it.

Studyafrica acts as an online network matching and recommending students and educational providers to build networks based on their User Content. Studyafrica uses a matching algorithm and processes its user content to make a match, with the goal of encouraging them to network with each other. Studyafrica monitors the communication of its users in order to ensure a high standard is maintained on the platform. Studyafrica may review and remove any user content that: stands in conflict with these Terms of Use, is in violation of any applicable law, is abusive or violates the rights or safety of other users. Studyafrica also reserves the right to remove any user content which is in violation of these Terms of Use and to terminate a user’s account if they are in violation of these Terms of Use. Studyafrica may take action regarding any user content that is deemed necessary, or if it is believed it to be a possible liability for Studyafrica. The following is a partial list of user content that is prohibited on Studyafrica.org. The list is for illustration purposes only, and is not limited to the following;

• Any user content that:
• 5.1 Violates the intellectual property rights of another person, or promotes unauthorized copies of another’s copyrighted work; for instance, the posting of pirated media or computer programs or links to such,
• 5.2 Contains restricted or hidden pages or images,
• 5.3 Promotes or endorses any kind of pornographic or suggestive materials of any kind,
• 5.4 Is abusive, disruptive, or offensive or engages in or promotes hatred, threating behaviour or bigotry against any group or individual,
• 5.5 Incites harassment or involves harassment of any kind towards any group or individual,
• 5.6 Provides misleading, defamatory, or libellous information,
• 5.7 Provides information about or promotes illegal activity such as violating others' privacy, pirating media, disseminating computer viruses, buying or creating weapons or soliciting passwords or other private information from others,
• 5.8 Involves the sending of spam, mass messages or junk mail,
• 5.9 Promotes or endorses any kind of illegal activity.

6.Assumption of Risk

By using our services, you (either for yourself and on behalf of your heirs), agree not to sue and to hold the Studyafrica staff free from any legal action, including claims and demands, as well as any liabilities related to injury, disability or death you may suffer, and any loss or damage to person or property to the fullest extent permitted by law that occur due to using Studyafrica. You further assume all such risks and take full responsibility for your user content and your actions on Studyafrica or any related service displayed on Studyafrica.org.

7.Registration and Password.

You are responsible yourself for maintaining confidentiality of your Studyafrica account, including your username and password. By using our services, you agree to immediately inform a Studyafrica representative of any unauthorized use of your account or password, so that appropriate steps can be taken.

8.Consent to Electronic Communications

When you register to Studyafrica.org, you agree to us providing you with information regarding to our products and services, and to keep you updated with information regarding your account on Studyafrica.org

If you wish not to receive messages from Studyafrica on its products or services, please submit a written request to info@studyafrica.org, or select the unsubscribe button found at the bottom of all communications.

9.Liability.

Studyafrica is not responsible for the content and the accuracy of the information provided by its users. Studyafrica serves as a place for students and professionals working in the field of education to network. The intention behind our product is for students to find study abroad options and for agencies and institutions to recruit students. Though you may delete your account on Studyafrica.org at any time, Studyafrica is not held liable for the actions of other users – i.e.: if another user has made a copy of your profile information.

Studyafrica will not cover any costs that may be incurred due to any such damages.

10. Disclaimer of Warranty

Studyafrica does not warrant that Studyafrica.org will operate error-free, or that it or its servers is free of computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms. If you use Studyafrica.org, the site is not responsible for any damages resulting due to the use of the website or app. Studyafrica serves on "as it is" basis and does not make warranties of any kind, including the completeness, accuracy and reliability of the content of our services on Studyafrica, as well as its user content.

11.No Unauthorized Commercial Use

By creating an account with Studyafrica.org, you agree not to assign or resell your rights or obligations under these Terms of Use, and not to use our service for any commercial purpose, except as expressly permitted by Studyafrica.

12. Indemnification

All users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Studyafrica, its affiliates, employees, staff, agents and directors from and against all claims, actions or demands, including but not limited to: justifiable legal and accounting fees resulting from (a) any User Content provided by you to any Studyafrica Site, (b) your use of any Studyafrica content, or (c) any breach by you of these Terms of Use.

13. Additional Terms of Use

Certain areas of Studyafrica.org and any other Studyafrica website and Software are subject to additional terms of use. Such sites only affect those who use Studyafrica in a professional manner and don't refer to the use of Studyafrica for students. By using these other areas, you agree to apply to our Terms of Use.

14.Termination of Account

The maintenance and termination of your account on Studyafrica is free of charge. You can terminate your account at any time without giving prior notice.

Studyafrica reserves the right to expel users from using Studyafrica services and to delete accounts with or without prior notice and without liability. Should you break any of those terms mentioned in this policy, Studyafrica may delete your account to your own costs.
